Going Out is a weekly attempt to investigate random bits of dialogue (overheard at the restaurant where I work) that reveal something about human desire. This week's contestants are two older gentlemen. The first arrives carrying a gold pillow, complete with tassels, and sporting an ascot. The second has spots of dry red to his face and missing teeth. When the waitress laughs at one of their jokes, the one with the ascot says...
