Obama won, and every country in the world has an opinion on what's to come.

Canadian author Margaret Atwood, writing in the Guardian, suggests that Obama is "more like a marathon runner than a sprinter."

From Germany, Der Spiegel notes that Obama has "a great deal to do in terms of foreign policy."

Israeli president Shimon Peres was quoted in Ynetnews as congratulating Obama and calls the election "first-class democratic event."

In Japan, a former cabinet minister quoted in the Asahi Shimbun says that the country is ready to "restart the Japan-U.S. relationship."

And the Onion, ever a reputable source of international news, headlines Obama's sentiments about the jubilation in Kenya.
